We found him in Yermo!

Elvis is alive and well in Yermo, California. We can't believe that we have only been on the road for two weeks now. It has been an incredible trip and is only just beginning.

Zion National Park

It rained all day today but it did not deter us from exploring the wonder of Zion.  It is an incredibly beautiful place.  We hiked the Weeping Rock trail and then the Riverside Trail.  We were thoroughly wet and tired when we were done.

More Bryce...

Bryce Canyon National Park

We were not sure if Bryce had any snow, but they sure did.  We were still able to hike the 3 miles of the Queen's Garden and Navajo Loop Trail which takes you down into the Bryce Amphitheater and around the snow-covered hoodoos.  It was well worth the difficult hike back up the snowy cliffs.

Everyone was happy to have lunch and get something special at WF. Now it is time for a five hour drive south.

We got grandma

We picked her up at the airport and she will be joining us on the next leg of our crazy cross country adventure. 3 days of skiing at Solitude and then down to southern Utah for a few National Parks.

Grandma arrived!

We are happy to say that Grandma has joined us on our adventure.  We have missed her so much.  Claire did a great job following Grandma down the trails and can now make some great turns.  She managed to get down some pretty steep trails.

Solitude Mountain Resort - Utah

I got new light blue ski goggles and a cool new green helmet. Skiing was great. I can make my way down all green trails and some very steep blue. I wish there was someplace to ski in Caldwell!

Will and Mom ran up to the top of Mesa Arch just before the sun went down.  It was an exhausting run as the altitude makes it rough but we made it up and down the mile trail.   It was an incredible view!
